All this serie is wonderful! Superb shot!*****!
wonderful view and most interesting history. Good clean photo with excellent composition. Nice job.
Oh it again an absolute fascinating photography about Cumberland! I would love to know what was going on here 100 years ago! It looks really like a ghost town! I^m not sure whether I would do a camping here during night! LOl Thanks again for this Cumberland photography series! Many thanks as well for the always so detailed explanation!
*** The image looks a bit blurry if you don't view it full size, so I encourage you to do so, thanks! ***
a bit different review from my end...sad...just seems so sad...wonderful photograph and no "blurry" that I could see. Great shot.
What a kool pad for the fella's, I wonder what the turret was for...Astronomy ? Nature sure reclaimed this one, great capture Kort ~Cheers~ :o)
Your images conjure up thoughts of high contrasting past/present, beauty/neglect and stir the mind into action, something only a few captures really do. A great series reflecting our lives and society to a certain extent.
Very good sky to emphasize the sorry state of bulding. Very moody!
After only fifty years! Bad job! Excellent picture!!!
I guess the horses and ghosts are the only guests enjoying the place now...the cloudy day adds to the eerie mood of all these pics from there.
Incredible shot buddy! You have captured this one well and love the light in it... Fantastic photography! Hope you have an excellent weekend.
Super perspective on the ruins, you captured this scene outstanding! What a haunting atmosphere about the place!
Excelent shot to go back in time a bit... the info helped greatly to see life here!
Great shot Kort...I'd love to go exploring there...weird huh lol hugs
A gripping capture of a scene that has voodoo written all over it. There's gotta be a zombie or two somewhere. Good lighting effects, and love the foreground and rotting structures.
Much history here. Excellent. Aloha
Oh yes, very beautiful picture on this landscape and impressiv ruins!!! aloha
It doesn't take nature long at all to reclaim what is her's. Reminds me of the movie Logan's Run.
Spectacular. The foreground plants and the sudden height of the broken turret work well to carry the eyes around the pic. Super.
very lovely looking place. bet it was super when new
Sad to see the deteriation of these once grand houses...Would have love to go to and hang out here when it was the place to be....Sad, but makes lovely pictures~ Aloha~
I once visited the Carneigie mansion in NYC with a friend. There was volumes about the philanthropic endeavors and frugal elegance of the family in contrast to the outrageous excesses of their peers! No mention was made of their decadent island playground! HMM! Go figure! Thanks for sharing. I suppose the great donation of the island back to Mother Nature qualifies to the philanthropy though. BJ
Almost spooky and kind of sad...but that's life...all things deteriorate...I should know. I see it every day in the mirror,lol....Anyhoo...great capture,Kortalouche and once again, thanks for sharing!-M :^)
Excellent story in here!!
