Description
600th Upload... I've decided to start this milestone upload with a small series of
snow shots. We've been in a deep freeze for the last few days and I wanted to share
this rare event with you all. The little snow we do get here on the island doesn't usually
last very long, and is typically followed by rain, so it makes capturing it a real challenge.
So when we recently got the "arctic blast" from the north, it's been very cold for several
days. And the snow has stayed for us to enjoy and photograph, and I'm so happy!!!!
I'd also like to take this moment to express my thanks and appreciation to all, for the wonderful
support and encouragement I've received from this eclectic family!!! You've all been an inspiration
to me in many ways and I truly have enjoyed my past 3 years here @ RR!!!!! I can only hope that
I've been some sort of inspiration to you as well. I hope you enjoy this series... Akemi

Congratulations on number 600, Akemi! This is another fine example of the beauty you bring to this site. I'm glad you got enough snow to get some photos; we only got a dusting down here.
CONGRATS...this is one beautiful shot
A perfect photo to choose to celebrate your 600th photo Akemi!! I love the dark curvy branches against the pale blue morning sky...and the snow is just icing on the....the cake! :-))) You are truly an amazing photographer/artist and have been a HUGE inspiration to me. Not only by the talent and creativity that you've shared with us but also by your spirit and kindness that you display here in RR. I'm sincerely so honored to get to view the wonderful images and text that creates your incredible gallery!! Congrats to you my friend!!! :-)
Fascinating trees, I love how they twist and weaver around each other. The contrast with the snow is fantastic.
