Description
Just playing with black and white again.. and this face just seemed to need it.. I sent the oringinal image to 'louly' for a critic.. and because of her smaller monitor, she suggested cropping the image to what you see.. I obviously did..lol.. thanks Louise.. perfect!
Go check her gallery out.. her composition is amazing...

Outstanding portrait in BW.
I was expecting to see a change or two, or that you would pick at it after, but you left it as suggested... lol The more I look at that hand in her hair, the more I like. And b/w was definitely the right choice. Looks fabulous! Thank you...
Beautiful
This is Fantastic Deane!Very real!
I am continually awed, amazed and insprired by your art, but I do have to say, in you case bigger is better (but don`t let go to your head LOL.)
Excellent render!!!
Very cool!!! he B/W suits her face, as you say!
love that face and the way the hand is interlaced (miraculously without poke through) through the hair. I think the b/w gives it added realism. Looks great :-)
A lot of work went into posing the eyes and fingers - a perfect portrait, with "talking" eyes!
What a stunningly beautiful, natural character Deane. Awesome work mate!
