What a beautiful island scene with this wonderful yacht! Love the light setting which gives this scene a wonderful atmosphere!!!
A photo at rest. Really nicely done.
Great compo and atmosphere!!! Bravo!!!
I wonder if the spirits of Bogie and Hepburn are below decks? I recently read an interesting article about the disastrous mess in the Republic of Congo, which went on for well more than 120 years. The Conrad quote is from Heart of Darkness, and he used the Belgian Congo colonial setting as the background for his 1899 novella. Excellent compo, BTW!
Sublime Capture, Kort. I adore this peaceful kind of shot. Such beauty!! Wonderful words to go with, as always. Super work. Hugs. Di.
I love the image...I like mondays too so this just makes me look to the horizon full of promise...a journey yet to be undertaken!!!
Such a simplistic yet striking image! Certainly captures the "overcast" mood! Its sunny here too - our fire crackling days are over (for now). Have a great week, Kort! 8;o)
You cave captured and incredible amount of space in this single shot.... That grey looks far to familiar for my likings LOL. Excellent work as always buddy. Hope you are keeping well
Great light
Your accompanying description fits very well, it was my thoughts exactly when evaluating the mood. Furthermore the display is without animation, almost desolate not just somber. Excellent!
Beautiful poetical image... looks so tranquil and peaceful!
So peaceful and serene! Makes me want to go out there and watch all this tranquil beauty. Great shot.
With your office ambiance, are you sure you don't work for Ebenezer Scrooge? Wonderful deep gray overcast mood shot of the boats at sea. And my eyelids are getting heavy....
Stunning Photo! Bravo! Sorry about the dark office! I hear they have these glasss that put out UV Light for the grey Blues days, wear those, and maybe the boss will get the hint! ;)
cool hot
Those words are so beautiful...probably because its written in english that this swede find rather complicated, lol. Gorgeous photo as well to go with it. I too wish to crawl under a blanket though....here it aint sunny...instead its pitch black outside at 6.40am and ive already been at work for an hour...siiigh. Have a lovely workday buddy! #:o)
The capture seems peaceful even if its Gray Monday. Excellent. Aloha
A lonely boat, I wonder if they are snuggled up and drinking hot, warm and fuzzy drinks ? Yup, a real Moday shot ~Cheers~
a good example where dark muted colors play the fiddle.
Nice! Give me a blanket...and I would come along ..hehe. Thanks for sharing your nice photos!
A blanket by the fire,a hot cup of coffee and a view like this in a cosy cabin by the sea...Sounds lovely and romantic to me.Sometimes weather like this is wonderful because you don't feel any pressure to go out in it...You can snuggle indoors instead and relish the quiet solitude and simple comforts of home...Of course, providing you don't have kids, little mood-killers that they are, screaming and running around,lol....It's lovely,Kortalouche.-M ;^)
