Description

Compare this "white" lion male with the Barbary lion and note the difference in coloration between male and female. They have cubs hidden in the bush nearby, hence their vigilance: male at full alert and the female with her ears slightly drawn backwards - if you are bush wise in Africa, it means "beware!".

Tomorrow I plan to ulpoad a photo of the couple standing guard near the bush where the cubs were hidden. The photo was captured on a farm Bona Bona where I live.

It is still a bit early, but to all the American friends, happy Thanksgiving tomorrow:" O give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever." Ps 136:26

Lastly: Thanks to all the Renderosity friends for your support during trialing times. You love and kindness unequalled. If I failed to respond to all kind messages in person, please forgive me and accept my gratitude.

My gosh, Piet! This male lion is the most handsome and beautiful I've ever seen. The color you've shown me is mesmerizing! He has a finely chiseled face, gently cupped ears, and a thick and rich crop of hair... a spectacular and stunning photo. Thank you for showing me this animal. I never would have known anything but the dark golden existed!

Now these are some gorgeous kittens. Not some i would cuddle with for too long i suspect...but id probably try if i could, lol. I cant stay away from any animals im afraid....which would explain me getting bitten by 4 different animals on a 2 week vacation in Thailand....dog, lizard, bird and fish. Oh well. Beautiful photo Piet!!!! Just gorgeous! Hope each new day becomes easier in time for you and your family.
