Description

This piece was inspired by the incredibly moving sculpture called "The Lion Monument" in Lucerne, Switzerland by the Danish artist, Bertel Thorwaldsen, from the early 1800's. While it was commissioned to memorialize the fallen Swiss, I've always seen it as one to all humankind through the millenia who have come to grief fighting for what they believe, and for those left behind to carry on. And so that is my dedication. Also I want to thank Romanceworks (Carol) who also was part of the inspiration for this piece.

I hope you'll tell us a bit more on how you made this image, what programs etc.... I love it! It says so much in the context you described. A 5+ and added to me favorites.
