Description
Nikon 7900 image.
I am not sure what species this nymph belongs to but I found a zillion of them on the Golden Rod blooms in late summer. They remind me of a childs toy called 'Cootie'. I think you need to be over 50 to remember this toy, lol.
The full size image shows much better details.

Cute as can be!! Excellent photo!!!!
Very interesting this group and the details is really amazing. Super pic
Wonderful capture and title.
I always got the red one! We played around the kitchen table after supper! A family game from Milton Bradley! Imagine a game, the whole family plays, together, laughing, teasing, AAH! Now where did I park my dino? LOL! They are quite tiny aren't they? Even with the zoom you can't see how those antennae are held together! An impossible feat of engineering! Thanks for the shot and the memory! BJ
very goood insect pano almost funny
Such strange looking insects! Great capture! 8;o)
Lovely shot. Love the wide format. I'm gonna take a guess and say it's the nymph of one of the assasin bug species.
Kewl!
