Sometimes when things go a bit wrong it may be time to try a bit of postwork to get what I was trying for in the first place I thought maybe it should go in 2D but as it was taken from my photograph thought it could go here..

I can not really see what the problem was but the results are fine. I can just imagine you wanted to emphasize the birds profile, especially the head. Interesting point about the 2D, I also ponder the point regularly when I upload. Great photo.

The compo is really good on this. I did a photoshop reduce noise and came up with a good result.But even the grain has it's effect too. What stands out is the minimal amount of leaf and that perch. Made the bird perfectly in place.

i havnt been on or commenting due to my workload around here, but i saw this sweet one and had to leave my thoughts . IT immediatly caught my eye and is a little gem so beautiful like a painting and i adore it Bravo Danny!! my hats off ... would make an excellent subject for an oil as welll.... GORGEOUS capture and postwork !!!
