Hi uzma The English lake District is located in the north west of England,on the map is more commonly referred to as Cumbria. Whist some of it is a bit commercialised once you get away from the tourist areas it is probably one of the most beautiful places in England,particularly if you like peace and quiet

ah lake district... have been there, but we had not the chance to see this beautiful sight... we had a bad thunderstorm going on the afternoon und through the night raining so hard the water pressed in through the rubber of the front window of our camping van...lol... but lake deistrict is beautiful for sure
