Awesome work, the detail is outstanding:)
Excellent posing and superb details! Great atmosphere and expressions. Lovely dress on the girl with the hat :)
This must have taken ages to put together Dennis! Love the detail. Brilliant work!
Masterful Dennis!!!
Wonderfully detailed scene!! Absolutely excellent work!!
Very cool! Love all of the detail and character placement. Nicely done!
I'm with you all the way on "Bringing the Westerns Back"!!!What a concept. I love how this image draws you into the warmth of the mood set here. Also you can travle beyond the feeling through the door way and see a man appourching. Makes you wonder what has gone on with him. Where's he coming from? Then you see the beauty of the world behine them. And you created an image that makes you mind even travle further to know the rest of what lies in this history. Awesome. Excellent work to say the least.
Oh Dennis, This is very good, and you are right about more westerns. I wish I could do a lot of these models. I will settle for my less complicated Bryce, I guess. I do love your work. Thank you so much for my birthday thoughts you sent to me, and also, for all the comments on my gallery. For taking time out to look at my silly pics, a few BIG HUGGS from...Silkylady...
Dear Dennis, The real "General Stores" I guess mostly belong in movies, but there is still one around that this reminds me off. It's on a little farm to market road north east of Columbus, Texas off IH 10. I stumbled upon it one day while coming back from San Antonio to Houston. THE Boss knew a place a mile or so from it - a farm house - that makes the best sausage I've ever had in my life!! I'm not that big of sausage fan, but this was really unique!! And on the way back to the freeway, we stopped in the old general store and I felt like I'd taken a time machine back a hundred years or so. And it was REAL - it wasn't something created as a tourist trap!! Your scene is so complex and so rich in detail - it must have taken forever to get everything exactly positioned in the right place. And I can't image the render time!! A really excellent job that brought back a wonderful memory!!! But then - that is what art is supposed to do - generate emotions!!! Love, Meredith
Fantastic scene Dennis, your 'puter must have been heaving rendering all those wonderful characters - outstanding work!
Absolutely wonderful I am reading a Western Romance now... Goes perfect with my book I love this Hugs Susan~
Wonderful image, Dennis. Excellent work. Happy evening to you. Di.
A most impressive and authentic scene Dennis, excellent job!
I like the warm friendly atmosphere in this very fine poser scene , Dennis ! Wonderful assortment of objects in the store and these contrast most effectively with the people happily chatting away.............. very elegant ladies too !
The scene looks very convincing and a great addition of the outside activities.
Wow this must have taken ages to achieve with all the different figures and props. Your attention to detail is marvellous. A masterpiece.
Beautifully designed/composed and detailed..and with an authentic "old west" flavor. Great colors, textures and placement. Excellent work, Dennis!
Oh Dennis---this is outstanding! Everything about it is truly wonderful. Bavo!
What a good scene...excellent done!*****!
Howdy pardner! What an inspirational image here Dennis. Really makes one long for the simple days when life was so much more slower. Of course, there is always a Black Bart type to spoil it for the simple townsfolk but then maybe this guy is all right, although the gun and cigar wouldn't make me want to trust him right away. Anyway, Mere is right. This must have taken a very long time to setup and render. Major Kudos and a big double thumbs up here my friend. Outstanding image! Best to ya from Dave :^)
So much to see here great image Dennis
