Description
...a new test with an "image-mapped" road texture combined with ecosystem work.
Vue 5 Infinite, Onyxtree, Bantam 3D "Grass 7", Photoshop CS & me :)
Only about 1 hr render in "Broadcast", global ambience with shadow maps.
(Because of the extremely high rez conifers I encountered several near-crashes, and Vue was very "reluctant" to render in other than "Preview" mode. So after another reboot and restart :) I decided to go for a Broadcast render in 1600x1200 anyway - but Vue DIDN'T OBJECT! So here it is.)
Postwork for minor corrections, framing & signature.
Thanks in advance for any comments etc. you may leave, they'll be very much appreciated.
Have a nice day

Wow! You're sure getting better with those roads! And of course the forest and atmoshpere are gorgeous as always. :-)
Beautiful atmo
Wonderfully done!!!
Sorry I missed this one in my e-mails, you can just imagine driving down this road, wonderful work the interaction between eco and road is superb. Stunning effort.
Atmosphere and trees are so realistic! Beautifully done
Amazing work here! Looks absolutely splendid. My hat off.
I like the mystic feeling of this image..nice soft looking trees
Wonderful mood in this very realistic render. Excellent work on the trees.
Great job. One suggestion: shadows falling across road don't seem to affect the white lines much. A little post with PS should do the trick there. But really, simply stunning. Any tutorials???? Please?
looks like a typical oregon back road :) very realistic.
