That's it, she thinks. Just ten more minutes. And then she's gonna leave. She's gonna get up off this stool and walk straight out the door... because, well, dammit, she's better than this. She deserves better than this and she's tired of thinking it and not acting like it.
So if he doesn't show up in ten minutes, she's outta here. And she's not gonna look back. Not this time. No, sir, to hell with that mess. She's gonna start looking out for number one. That's what everyone else does, right?, so why shouldn't she?
Ten more minutes, man. That's it, that's it, that's it. That is it. End of story. Finito.
Of course... she said that twenty minutes ago...

This is lovely in its poignancy and its wonderful comment about the "unsocialness" of age. My sole comment is that the hands are lit so differently from her face that they draw attention immediately, and instead I want to look at her eyes. I wonder if it wouldnt help to have her lit from underneath, so the hands are put in shadow and the emphasis returns to her face.
