Cool shot, sparkling clean motor wasn't it. :))
Jocko, great capture of a 8 cylindar engine block being rebuilt, it looks claened up well and at least one newer piston installed . . . nice textures and details showing in your photo! Say, I lost an allen wretch lately, can you get me that one? ;-)
nice capture Jock. super clarity
Now time to fix the gasket :) Nice close up
Yeah, who threw the monkey wrench into the mix? :) Motors are amazing machines and people who can work on them are talented. I like to watch the chopper shows where they make the bikes from scratch. This is cool!
Well, those valves and seats look a whole lot better than my old Subie, kool capture Jock ~Cheers~ :o)
Impressive cylinder block - well captured :)
Well, as a girl, I know nothing about this, LOL!
Nice bit of engine here. Ever wondered where that last washer dissapeared to when it has been re-assembled lol!. Well done jock!
Small block Chevy. 8.5-9.5 compression flat top pistons. That's what my honey said! lol q-: Looks cool! (:
thanks I did not know what engin it was
Nice shot of the engine block, Jocko! Looks relatively clean and spiffy.
Great photo Jock. Reminds me of the car my son now has, 3 blown head gaskets in 2 years at 600 a time!!! (Never buy a Rover with a "K Series" engine)Come to think of it don't buy a Lotus Elise either the older ones use the same engine!!!
I will have to go with drifterlee above I know nothing!!~ lol
These piston tops seem to have smiley faces on top. This kind of display always gets the male attention.
oh, very original picture my friend and excellent geometric form!!! Good day ;)

Very cool shot Jock!! I am with mermaid, I see faces in here too. :-) Happy Day hugs to all family. Di.
Oh I like this wonderful motor portrait! It looks quite new or did you polish it?! Thanks for the posting! Bravo!!!
Fantastic photo and POV too....!!!
A great shot. I find sophisticated parts like this to be interesting.
Very clear and crisp shot Jock
Hmmm. One new piston, eh? (Shiney, new numbers on it, slightly different shape.) Ports need a bit of work though - deburred, widened if possible. Otherwise slap it back together and fire it up!! (great shot, Jock!)
an engine with many personalities..... great eye you have!
Excellent shot, fantastic details. What a clean motor!!
Fine picture of some heavy metal.
So neat... cooool ! Excellent !
