"A thousand years may scare form a state. An hour may lay it in ruins." ~ Lord Byron "This Halloween the most popular mask is the Arnold Schwarzenegger mask. And the best part? With a mouth full of candy you will sound just like him." ~ Conan O'Brien
Happy Halloween Everyone! This is a little composite I put together from 5 photos in honor of the holiday, the predominant photo being that of the ruins of Dungeoness on Cumberland Island. Looking at it now, I might have overdone the radial blur at the bottom and I know the lighting isn't technically accurate, but I am happy with the overall feel of the image. Peering closely, you may recognize the 'spirits' up in the sky from my 'TRAPPED' photographs of the sculptural work of Reuben Hale
. Well, I am pleased to say that I was finally able to make contact with him and am using those photos with his blessing. Please take the opportunity to explore his amazing work by following the link above. -----

Great Halowwen image ! Superb !
Wonderful composite for Halloween, with great lighting effects! I like the zoom effect of the foreground. Although, ahem, a few bats in flight would have helped. Or perhaps Count Dracula trying to seduce the young lady.
Wow...a stunning Halloween image. Outstanding scene and tones. Looks fantastic!!
The most beautiful Halloween image I ever did see, Kort. Sublime. Good words too, as always. Hugs to all family for a Happy and peaceful All Hallows Eve. Di.

this is just coooooooooool! Can't imagine how much work you put in it... I especially love the littel girl staring at the house... grin
Superb piece! Bravo!
Very nice and beautiful work... Good day ;)
I love it! I don't think you overdid the blur as the lighter color creates a plaint and draws the eye up to the main subject. I just read a composition tutorial and it said that it is ok to make your lighting not realistic...that lightin is important to showcase the main subject and art it is needed. I think this is EXCELLENT!!!
Happy Halloween Kort!!! Wonderfully creepy image!!
