Description
A fern on the windowsill. Wish I could've focused on more of it -- maybe I'll screw around with the same scene later, it's not like the fern has somewhere to be. Mostly I'm just amazed at how good the colors came out, really didn't expect it to be usable. I noticed after the fact that it's kind of reminiscent of TwoPynts' style; hope that doesn't offend you, man.
Thank you all for your comments on my last image and such and so forth and blah blah blahhhhhhhh.

I hardly think Kort will be offended by that comparison. Hell probably be flattered. Beautiful macro with like you said..stunning green color. I dont see why you would like more of it to be in focus though. The shallow DOF is what makes it extra interesting to me. #:o)
Beautifult image erland
wonderful macro, excellent sense of depth in the shot!
Love the detail and freshness of this!! Ferns are such ALIVE plants!! Makes a rainforest what it is!! Lovely DOF!! 8;o)
What!?! How dare you compare this to my style!?! ARe you LoOnEy??? LOL, just kidding. This is great. Lovely saturated greens and an nice repetitive pattern that fades to blur. Since you brought me into this, I will offer some feedback regarding how I might approach this. I find the right bottom corner a bit distracting, so I suggest either filling the frame with the fern fronds, or blanking out the background. A nice solution in this case would be to put a dark red 'something" there (like paper or a sweater) to make the green pop a bit more. Have fun next time you get together with the fern! :)
This is a great flower shot. Very nice color. Great pov.
What a abstract and a real natural one!! Love the greens and the texture! Thank you and have a nice day JOE
Super, love the DOF! Fantastic shot!
