Description
A cricket in the garden. Can't remember what kind of plant that's called. Had to adjust the colors and contrast so the green would pop out more, just so you know. I actually took this one several months ago in the summertime, when everything was green.
Thanks for your comments on my last pic.

LoooooooooooL @ You Andreas.. First tht little guy ain't ugly, second its one of the favorite plates (FOOD) in the far-east, they taste so good when they get fried! :D Nice shot and amazing greens :) Thank you for the post JOE
LOL, to me it looks like the little hopper is turning into a flower, or vica versa. Nicely captured.
Looks like the little cricket has found a good place to have a rest... and a perfect place for you to capture him!
"... and a perfect place for you to capture him!" Yes, perhaps I will take him home and put him in a mayonnaise jar, with a leaf and a stick to recreate what he's used to. (Mitch Hedburg)
Wonderful macro! Rich color and compo.
Your grasshopper is on Gooseneck Loosestrife ...and I agree, it looks like bug and bloom are morphing into each other. Thanks for the reminder of summer!
I think he's cute .. Jimminy Cricket .. from Disney's Pinochio, is that spelled right?
