This was taken at Lake Martin. Got a lot of swamp area around it too.

Fantastic capture of the swamp Jock!! Gives a real good feel for the spot. Thank you for going back, I glad you found the late bloomer for us all. She is a beautiful flower. Like a smaller gladioli, you keep safe out there you are dear to us on RR. Hugs. Di.

Beautiful flowers! What a sight seeing them all blooming everywhere! Thanks for the look/see Jock! (:
Oh my GOSH! Watch out for them Gators, Jocko! I like the hint of the pretty lake behind here. This is much too congested to hang around for long. I worry about snakes...never thought about Gators! Now I have something else to think about. I wonder what kind of flower that is...very beautiful, anyways. BE CAREFUL!!
Good work!!
Nice and beautiful flowers. They live a so little time ?
A fine shot of the lush flowers and swampland, my friend, where even angels fear to tread. Step into that morass and goodbye Johnny!!! You would slowly sink below while providing a tasty lunch for alligators and all kinds of predatory creatures. Good capture, Jocko!
gators is one of the reasons for telephoto lenses!!!beautiful captures
Awesome Jock! Well then, mind the snakes & the gators! ;)
Nice looking swamp and some beautiful flowers, the best time of year to be in the South!
These are the dreaded water hyaciths. They are beautiful but spread and choke out everything else and consume the oxygen that the fish and other water animals need. But a beautiful shot of the swamp for sure. Very appealing.
Always like flowers...super job you done here!!!
Watch out for them gators Jocko!!! The nip at yer feet!!! Great shot my friend!!
Whoa Jock, you need to have a look out with you, otherwise you might end up a gator snack ! great swamp shot and flower close-up ~Cheers~ :o)
