Description
I've tried this scene a couple of times and can't quite get what's in my mind to relate onto an image. Rendered the five dance figures separatly and then played with a bunch of layers in Photoshop to "tween" the other figures. As is usual, when I don't like the outcome, I try to screw it up more with filters and effects.

excellent idea and creation! very beautiful done! :)
I don't find this image as satisfactory as I would like. However, having said that, there is one thing interesting about that I would like to share. I was struck at how the image of the various positions seemed to correspond in my mind to the notation of a melody on a sheet of music. It was like I could almost "hear" the music being danced to. As I say, it wasn't perfect, but close. Does that help?
Outstanding ! Reminds me of some of the Muybridge photos.
WOW! I wish I could "screw up" like you do.. this is amazing :)
Excellent
I think just the far left figure alone, with the piano and backdrop would have made a powerful image, but I understand, creatively, what you're trying to accomplish!
now you got me thinking again (danger!) but would it not be slapsticky for a sequel, she goes plop in the last frame? I think it worked out great!
Great idea, I think it's turned out well, and that was a great idea with the Photoshop layers:) I like the overall simplicity of the composition in terms of scene content, and the sky out of the window. The white works well, but IMO it needs to be toned down just a fraction (around the window and man and piano) as it is a bit glaring and detracts from the image a bit.
i think it's lovely! really beautiful.
I don't know Dave, it's pretty effective...perhaps the pause space between where the action occurs is too great? The action scene itself, timing wise, seems right on target. I guess my eyes don't understand the gap. Love the effect! [=
When I see your name on a thumbnail, I can't wait for the page to load becaus I know I will be wowed. This is no exception.
quite intriguing piece of work.
Very well done. I recalled Degas's work
