Description
Boris says, "Go find your own spot!"
But thank you for visiting little Boris, even if he's not so thrilled with the intrusion. And thanks again to everyone who have been commenting on my recent renderings here. I appreciate them.
This rendering is my first venture into the Poser Hair Room. In keeping with my experimental nature I elected to use this tool to create grass and cat fur, not human hair like normal people. Poser Cat does not come with any real hair so I had to add it to the figure. The grass, on the other hand, is based on a wonderful Renderosity Forums thread which outlines the basic steps for growing grass like strand hair. My thanks to bagginsbill who is the principle author of the thread.

To make the grass look more natural, I added some shorter displacement mapped grass to fill in the scene. Strand grass grows in orderly lines and looks more like a green corn field on its own.

Hey that's terrific! You should post a link to this in the grass thread, there were lot's of people who bookmarked it that would probably like to see this. I found it only because I occasionally search the gallery for my name to see if anybody mentioned me because of a technique I'm interested in. I'm glad I found this - it's very nice.
