ABOUT UFO TV SERIES
UFO was a British television science fiction series created by Gerry Anderson and produced by Anderson's and Lew Grade's Century 21 Productions for Grade's ITC Entertainment company.
UFO was Anderson's first series with live actors, but he had long experience with the one-hour format, good scripts, and exemplary production values.
UFO first aired in the UK in 1970 and in US syndication over the next two years. There were 26 episodes including the pilot, filmed over the course of more than a year, with a five-month production break caused by the closure of the show's original studio.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When I was a child, every saturday I say in front of the TV set hours with my friends just to wait the new episode of UFO. It was seminal for me!:)
I have this meshes (by different authors) from years on my hard disk, but for some kind of respect I've never use them. Finally after years I've decided to import the meshes in Bryce, make new textures and correct them where was errors, to match as possible the original models.
This is my respectful tribute to the UFO classic TV series.

Way to go !! It capture my imagonation when I was young too... and even now UFO has some kind of wonderful appeal, even when you see those horrible pre-PC computers with magnetic tapes that whirl ... Have done a mesh of the SHADO moonbase myself... I remember the soccer domes being the hardest part to model !!!!

Beautiful recreation! I especially liked your remembering to add the Interceptors and that strangely-designed shuttle they used. I was surprised to find several UFO/Space1999 enthusiasts with websites filled with CGI artwork and Italian text!
I've never seen the show (did it air in the States?), but I really like the moonbase design alot.

Hey, great work! I was a big fan of UFO too! I got one of the alien ships, but the intercepter I downloaded is a mess since I'm using 3-D max instead of Lightwave. Let me know if you can find some of the modles in .3ds format?
