Description

Thank you for all your kind comments and visits to the collaboration with Kai.

During a casual visit to a lion farm I spotted this lonely lioness cub which was brought into a quarantine area to attend to a possible skin disease. She was so lonely, her behaviour said "play with me" but her paws had already developed into lethal instruments.

Hopefully, by now she is happily reunited with her family. I hope you enjoy the display.

TLC applied not only to the lioness but to the photograph as well. Very professional presentation.

Absolutely very impressive! I saw lions only in ZOO and that I don't like. I love animals and always feel sorry when they are not free as it's God's will! This is a nice story about her! And is fantastic that she is well now! Excellent done all together!!!

Utterly wonderful poignant captures of the lonely cat, pondering her fate. The eyes are so guileless and soulful. The lion reminds me of the one in the film, CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. I really like the soft lighting and detail of the fur and whiskers in this splendid triad of photos, Piet!

How beautiful is this face? Magnificent. Cats seem to have so much mystery about them and yet, they hide nothing. Such a lovely view of a gracious animal.
