After two days journey, the ship La Sirene reached the island. Mary leads a shore party, and true to her word, Margiana shows them the exact location of the treasure she had buried when she was captured. After a hard dig, the chest is uncovered and "Red" pulls it up, showing a strength that belies her slight frame. They are all delighted to see the chest, but Mary has an uneasy feeling and keeps close guard.
