Description
My vision of Markal's Ashkelon.
One of the hardest terrain's I've had to surface. I hope you enjoy Mark :) I did fiddle with the heights (made it much taller) :)
Surfacing and atmosphere are mine. This was truely a challenge for me personally as I've still not figured verticle overlays, hence the snow surface. Slight levels adjustment to this. Frame, Birds and sig.
My deepest thanks to everyone for your comments on my last upload. I know it's been a while but ... such is life... Your comments are what makes me strive to work even harder... hence the long distance between uploads... :)
As always,
Pat

Breautiful. Love your interpretation of it!!! Excellent render and work!! My 5.
This is a departure from your regular stuff. But it's great. You're surfaces are just amazing. I'd love to know how you did this one.
Yes, I found verticle surfacing tricky too. You did a great job here though. Think maybe I would have added at least one more, rougher, layer of snow for depth..but then maybe that's not what you had in mind. Still a great job! :o)
Brilliant ! You dont see many alien looking scapes in the terragen gallery... This ones a beauty !
Whoa Pat! This is sensational! Your surfacing looks fantastic and the lighting is extremely well done! Save these settings!
Vertical surfacing and overlays? Entering the realms of the esoteric for me. We'll have to get in touch with Markal's shaman for a tutorial. Nice render, Pat.
Cool variation of this terrain. Wonderful surface! I am glad, the two eagles are there. I missed them on the thumb ;o)
super landscaps and fantastic artwork!
Excellent job!Excellent TG arwork Patt! Ashkelon is near Gaza...and in the North of Israel they are living in bunkers 'cause of this war :( I live in Israel ,Sorry Pat but Ashkelon is a town, near Gaza ...Askelon is not like this !!! Markal can call Ashkelon this terrain but it's not topographic profil of Ashkelon!!! Keep up the good work,Patt! Thank you for sharing :)
Beautiful snow surface and an awesome interp, Pat. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent artwork!

wow this is impressive, very nice work! I could only imagine how much of a task terrain like this could be, but you passed w/ flying colors, bravo :D

Beautiful mood!
hehehe - just seen markal's comment - i think we all know its hard to surface vertical walls - whether its with an overlay or just getting a varied amount of terragen surfaces on there but it looks great - finishing touches are great too!!
