Description
Hello all!
Here is another lotus flower - this one I thought was interesting cause it was blanketed hiding under a Huge 3 foot long lily pad and peeking out shyly !!
I went with Georgy the other day ( we are going again tommorrow so might do a little serie) SO she was so kind to let me try her canon Mark 1 cam for about 10 minutes and its the first time i have ever tryed using a slr ..so I didn't know what the heck I was doing ( HAHA ) but tryed quickly here and got this shot - even the bee suddenly came to visit!!. ( she put my shots on a seprate card and just emailed me the few I took and so I am putting my first slr shot !! - Thanks Georgia )
...NOW I REALLy want a slr!! lol!! ... after I went back to my tiny pocket nikon 7900 I could not even get close to what i could with the other and tryed to remain positive theu the rest of my shoot ..lol...but was relieved that my camera was so much lighter at the same time .. lol...
Thanks for all your time and comments behind again so busy with my three daughters its summertime and they are all home now .. will try and get to some commenting later on tonight !!
love to you all
((( BIG hugs ! ))

I agree with the others and special Andreas Kimarie :) This is your best from your all shots till now.. Love that little buggy thingie in there tho :)) And you really did very good on the ANGLE (POV).. that shot is clear and really amazing... It is so wonderful.. and that for here is a big hug and many kisses to you ms. sigh! Hope to see soon honey and wish you a happy warm not boiling day :)) JOE
Extremely well composed; that glow you've managed to capture in those petals is just amazing. Remember, the great painters are not remembered for the brands or expense of the paints they used. I think you could coax a masterpiece out of a pinhole camera. Never doubt that eye of yours, Kimmers! FIVE STARS
Excellent! It almost looks like a painting! I love it!!
Wow..great shot Kimmie...I just got my first SLR...love it...got a lot to learn however..Where has Georgia been? I miss her work here...Now all you have to do is save up $1000 to go out and get that camera...lol...good luck.
All your shots are so wonderful I find myself with nothing to say except thanx woman....
Yup... once you've had a taste of SLR it's hard to go back! Very stunning image. :0)
Time to start saving, and lifting some weights then? Wonderfully crisp & clear image. Well done!
Really beautiful shot Kimmie. Gorgeous flower. Love seeing it wrapped with lily pad leaves. I have never seen a lotus. Truly gorgeous flower. I think you did a stunning image here !!!. So you liked Georgy's camera eh ? You do so well with your Nikon too but an SLR does increase what you can do. Excellent image. Truly a sublime flower !!!! Hugsssss
Wow, a stunning shot. Love how the leaf hugs the lotus and the big view really shows the clarity and textures so beautifully. One of your best. CC
