Description
Hello all!
Here is another lotus flower - this one I thought was interesting cause it was blanketed hiding under a Huge 3 foot long lily pad and peeking out shyly !!
I went with Georgy the other day ( we are going again tommorrow so might do a little serie) SO she was so kind to let me try her canon Mark 1 cam for about 10 minutes and its the first time i have ever tryed using a slr ..so I didn't know what the heck I was doing ( HAHA ) but tryed quickly here and got this shot - even the bee suddenly came to visit!!. ( she put my shots on a seprate card and just emailed me the few I took and so I am putting my first slr shot !! - Thanks Georgia )
...NOW I REALLy want a slr!! lol!! ... after I went back to my tiny pocket nikon 7900 I could not even get close to what i could with the other and tryed to remain positive theu the rest of my shoot ..lol...but was relieved that my camera was so much lighter at the same time .. lol...
Thanks for all your time and comments behind again so busy with my three daughters its summertime and they are all home now .. will try and get to some commenting later on tonight !!
love to you all
((( BIG hugs ! ))

Splendid!
Absolutely stunning!! BRAVO!!
This one is delicately beautiful (and vaguely erotic for some reason!)....
Such a gorgeous shot! I love it. What else I could say? Both techically and aestheticly beautiful. :-)
Thats done it....if there was ever proof of needing a DSLR this is it! Well done.
The lighting on this is awesome, Kimmers!!!!!! Love that bee capture!!!!
Congrats on your first DSLR shot...now there will be many more to come once the new cam arrives.
Beautiful capture :-)
This is one of the very finest still lifes I've ever seen. The lighting, color, compostion, balance and theme are of the highest professional quality. For me, photography is art. And There's an common idea among artists that a work is never complete. There's always something that can be improved. Not in this case, IMHO. This work is complete! KUDOS!!!
Genial! genial! genial! quiero fotografiar como usted!! Mis felicitaciones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;O)
beautiful!
Oh so precious. Congratulations on being AOM!!! So well deserved and I know you must be thrilled. Glad I found your gallery this way. Awesome picture!

Love the light and the details. Lotus-flowers are not really common around Northern Germany, but we have a small pond close to where I live. Unfortunately you still can't get that close to the flowers there :-(
Phenomenal capture!
