Description
Here's another shot of the iceberg I posted yesterday. This berg calved from Columbia Glacier, near Valdez, Alaska. I have one more I may post of it; I just love the blue color.
Speaking of color, I haven't changed the color at all. I did a bit of level adjustment on this, but changing the color of an image that's really just about color would be cheating, wouldn't it. :-)
Thanks for all views and comments.

This blue color is just incredible, and it's mind-boggling that icebergs can be this blue. Thanks for sharing the marvelous shots from your trip.
You really take us up close and personal with this shot. There is so much to study with the assortment of lumps and bumps. The color is simply amazing.
how unreal can something look like. if you had not told what it is, I would have thought it to be a big piece of plastic. the blue is awesome
I cannot get to gips with the composition of the ice Dennis. I expected all bergs to be sharp crystalline angles, but this is more like a mix of pudding stone and flint. Yes, that incredible pure blue is mesmerising. I enjoyed your holiday as much as you I think. Thankyou very much:-)
Now this is sharp good detail Dennis. Be nice to experience this type of photography myself one day.
It's hard not to be constantly amazed at the forms nature takes. Here, I really like the contrasts. First, between the two blues, and secondly, between the two surfaces. It's even more amazing when you realize it's the same substance! As always, wonderful photography and presentation. Thank you, Dennis.
I love it. It's so beautiful. How come we don't have blue ice??
Wow!!! That's really cool!!!!! No pun intended!!! LOL ;p
The frozen and liquid water looks great! Outstanding blue shades!
I love the blue color of this iceberg....I am glad you have this series. I am living on a dry, hot continent, to see shots like this make me feel I am in haven!
