TSLOF ~ The Sequel (dedicated to Hopalong) by TwoPynts

"She is pure Alice in Wonderland, and her appearance and demeanor are a nicely judged mix of the Red Queen and a flamingo." ~ Truman Capote
Inspired in part (but not in whole) by the brilliant "The Secret Life Of Flamingos." Here we find a loner, a rebel looking to cause some trouble without his blue beak sheath. Never trust a flamingo -- even one made of glass -- if it isn't wearing an azure beak sheath. You have been warned. ----- Bird Proverbs (with the word "bird" replaced with word "flamingo") Every Flamingo Loves To Hear Himself Sing The Early Flamingo May Get The Worm, But The Second Mouse Gets The Cheese A Flamingo In The Hand Is Worth Two In The Bush One Beats The Bush, Another Takes The Flamingo God Gives Every Flamingo Its Food, But Does Not Always Drop It Into The Nest Flamingos Of A Feather Flock Together Fine Feathers Make Fine Flamingos The Early Flamingo Catches The Worm Kill Two Flamingos With One Stone A Flamingo Can Sing With A Broken Wing, But You Can't Pluck Feathers Off A Frog ----- Thank you for your ozric comments on my last upload, Organic Singularity.

Humbled, flattered, and delighted--marvellous and in your face. What is that Swahili turn of phrase pemba embe: "to bring down mango(e)s with a flamingo neck"? Or was that Alice when she was less than ten feet tall? Nor neglect the ancient East African:--"Bringing flamingo(e)s to Lake Nakuru", hehe. Or was that Apicius?
What a beautiful, intense capture of that raspberry-colored pod! I really dig those yellow seeds(?) on the surface! Nice dark contrasting background again. Where do you find these esoteric plants?
