They can get quite aggressive, yes. They are my favourite animals though, so thank you soooo much for sharing him!!
Great perspective on this youngster. Not uncommon to be cantankerous at that age too. When do we see you in Africa (again)?
Excellent photo. So jealous of your experience:)
a stunning show of wildlife at it's most natural!! thank you for sharing it with us all!
Fantastic shot! Very well done! Short_ribs, just don't try and ride them and pull their ears WHILE they're charging! Baaaad combination! :o)

very nice shot (i read somewhere that in a real charge the trunk is curled up so as to protect it from damage. waving it like this one seems to be doing is like a hand signal, 'go away' probably).
Wonderful capture of this elephant... superb!
Beautiful shot of this wild elephant!
Woah! You and busi2ness like to live dangerously out in Africa. Great capture of this magnificent animal.
lol got to watch out. This is a very good shot of him
Looks scary.
So you've been "tested by the Spirit of Elephant" as well, eh? I've been challenged once too, though mine was while working at the Philadelphia Zoo... and despite a typically slow pace to every motion, these creatures are powerful enough to be scary when they shift gears. Nice photo.
