My mom just bought a new camera and she's been letting me use it . . . I went apeshit. Unfortunately the orgy of photo-taking that followed only yielded a few good pics. This is one of them, a close-up of a pair of Mexican or pseudo-Mexican puppets mom got me, I think in Portland (Maine). Beautiful things, sort of surreal in a warm and pleasant way. We keep them on the bureau in the dining room (which is also the kitchen). If you look at it the right way it's almost like they're talking to each other. Thanks for all the comments on "moon acrobats".
