This is the first photomerge I've done in a long time -- and it's really not that bad. I'm not too happy with the way I put the clouds in front of parts of the moon (doesn't look natural), but it's the best I could do after multiple tries and I am satisfied. At first I wanted to keep with the tarot theme [EDIT Dec. 2011: and i was being really disgusting -- i'm really sorry about all the gross appropriation of Tarot i did here and elsewhere on this site] I'd been doing lately, but I decided this really looks better by itself. However, I made a tarot version so you could all decide for yourselves which one you liked best. Here it is: XVIII The Moon Awhile back (can't remember which post I said it in) I mentioned that riko and promiselamb had left the site, and that the next photomerge I did would be dedicated to riko. Since I'd also mentioned promiselamb, and I miss her too, I decided to make this a two-for-one ass-kissing special. For those of you not familiar with the two of them, riko was a fantastic digital painter whose work featured elements of sci-fi, pulp cheese, and latex fetish. Apparently they left because they didn't like the changes the staff has made to this site, and I can't say I blame them. promiselamb was a photographer/model who's images often featured herself, and who's work combined the edge and spontaneity of an amateur with the glamour and class of a professional. I'm not sure why she left, it's possible she was kicked off as there was alot of nudity in her gallery. They both seemed like really nice people, heavily enjoying themselves and their art, and it's so sad to see them go. This image is dedicated to them. riko's site is at http://www.4f-creations.com/. You can go here to see what they had to say about leaving Renderosity. I'm not sure what happened to promiselamb or where she went. If anyone knows, please send me a link to her stuff so I can post it here. Thanks in advance. As I said before, I hate what the new changes are doing to our community. I'm sticking around for the members, NOT the changes or the staff or the silly censorship issues. Unless something big comes up I'm not leaving any time soon, but I have no problem with those who do, so long as they leave a link behind so we can all view their work on their own terms. EDIT [Dec. 2011]: also i realized i didn't know what pronouns riko uses. i apologize. Big thanks to naraosga, cyberwolf, cx_ed, Cheryl Empey (cempey), and adamci for their great stock photos.
