I am not 100% sure, but I believe it is called a "Columbine - Denver Gold" flower (Aquilegia chrysantha). The information came from www.naturehills.com. Take a look and see if that is correct. This is a stunning image! I love the background. It is such a beautiful blue. Well done and hope that helped.
Strong color - yellow sets off against the blue background like a 4th of July blast ;) Super visual
Actually have no idea.lol. Thought a daffodil but looking closer im wrong:( Beautiful image Matt:)
It is indeed a golden columbine (Aquilegia chrysantha) but I do hope you won't change such a perfect redundantly abundant title :) Most beautiful contrast of colors.
Perfect color - just can't beat that combination. Beautiful image.
Such a perfect contrast between blue and yellow :)
Ahhhh lovely macro!! I love the contrast of the blue and yellow! Simply splendid!
Love that depth and color contrast. This is very nice. KP
Stunning macro capture, love the vivid color and clarity!!!
Brilliant! Five stars! :)
Your photography is brilliant!!!
You gotta love columbine. This one is a beauty. Colorado's state flower is the blue and white columbine. These are tasty, by the way. If you take the five pointed parts and bite off the little knobs at the end, there's nectar bees would fight you for. Awesome. Anyway, nice shot. Thanks for making a Colorado boy's day.
