Description
The title is the name of an old folk song. You may know the song, it goes ...Way down upon the Suwannee River far far away....etc. You may have heard it. Anyway this is the "old turning bridge" on the Suwannee River. Not sure of all the historical details on it, but I can try to find out if anyone is interested. I took this on the Lafayette county side of the river looking toward the Suwannee county side. I grew up in Mayo Florida which is in Lafayette county. anyway enough rambling. Thanks for looking everyone ands have a terrific day!

"The title isn't to make fum of Troy turning a year older"...yeah right!!! LMAO!!!! Too funny! #:oD What a weird looking bridge. Whats the point of a turning bridge...when you can only reach either side of the river and nothing in between? #:O/ All the same...its cooool, lol. Have a wonderful day Wendy. #:O)

Thank you Wendy! So! When I come to Florida, will you take me to this place? That would be most excellent! I wonder if the bridge is still in use, for both river traffic and land (is this a train trestle)? It's a beautiful image and Happy B-day present Wendy, thank you SOOOO dear!
