Welcome back Kimmie! And what a lovely shot of this Monarch..It's time like these when the pressure is on, "Will I get the shot while it's on the purty flower, or will it fly away?" Great shot here Missy! Aloha!

A VERY purty Spring butterfly. This is really a great shot, it's so clear and I never noticed all the white spots on a monarch's body before. Exquisite and welcome back. Gotta say you HAVE been missed. :o) CC
Your first one is already a masterpiece... another jewel in your outstanding gallery, Kimmers ! Excellent photo & postwork ! Very happy to see you're back in the community ! Hugs ! :~)
Brilliant butterfly macro photography! The color and light setting looks really glorious! I love the black frame around! Thanks for this lovely posting! V
an excellent macro of this beauty, looks fantasticV
Ditto romanceworks, I never noticed the white spots on the body of the monarche either. You will have to go to Pacific Grove when the millions of monarches descend on the town each year. It would be a great photo shoot trip even without the butterflies. This is beautiful and fabulously presented Kimarie. +V+
Absolutely beautiful, wonderful composition:):)..V
Happy for you on capturing your first butterfly! And it is a beaut! Almost seems to defy physics the way that the butterfly sits on the edge of that flower without it tipping over! Excellente! +++
Your shots always jump out at you....vote!
Such striking colors! Such a beautiful capture!! Kimmers must be back!
