Description
Here's hoping tomorrow brings less rain and no powerouts:) That's the day I had today.
Terrain, surfacing and atmosphere are mine. Terrain created in World Machine, brought into GeoControl and some work and extra terrain layers added. Atmosphere is a variation of the one I have in my free files titled: Magic
Levels adjustment, some sharpening to the foreground, birds, sig and frame in PSP 9.
My deepest thanks to you all for your comments on my last upload: Painting the Desert
Your comments always bring a smile and make me strive even harder each day to improve.
As always,
Pat

Magical and beautiful work!!! Most excellent!!!
This light and atmosphere highlight the upper terrain nicely revealing it's details. Just for fun, bring the camera back a bit and elevate it by about 1000 or more to see how it effects the POV.
Yes, there are the typical Geo Control 'blocks' left side - has some quarry look... :)
Very beautiful palette of colours on a really nice landscape.
Lovely colours!
Nice detail in the terrain features...great surface work! Almost a sinister feel to it! Excellent work Pat!!
Very beautiful work on terrain, surface mapping and pov
Good photorealism in this scene: love the dark rock and complimentary grey sky.
Great terrain and atmo! Beautiful work!
Wonderful Pat. Great POV and love those rocks.. looks very bleak.
it's a barren rocky land, one expects Mad Max to come roaring around the corner!
super POV and mood, light and image!
Strange mood, i like a lot the dark coloring of the surface, atmo fits perfect to it!
Superb all around render here. Great terrain and surface.

Very interesting work on the terrain structures, great use of the light on them. Superb !
Well you got the mood and feel right on this one. Looks like it's one of those misty rainy days. Love the atmo and lighting used, works perfectly. Even the rocks look rather damp to me. Excellent!!
Pardon me while I pick my jaw up off the floor...Stunning work!! ")
Oh I wish I had that sky to wake up to this morning...nothing but rain. Beautiful work Pat. Like Choronr said above, the sky brings out the details wonderfully!
