Description
I was pasting by this boat ramp when I saw this. I was takeing photos of it and then read the sign. Now to me this say any auto and trailer left here unattended will be towed. So you come here and put a boat in the water. Then you have to have someone there to watch the auto and trailer as you go boating or it will be towed.
I say to myself a long time ago you can go boating and leave the auto there without no one brothing nothing. Now you go boating and your auto will be towed away. This poor man auto was left unattented and guess what??? When I was comeing back that way that day I saw the truck being towed off and the police was there too.
I tell you you can not park no wheres now days with out your auto getting tow off. That poor man now have to pay the tow truck.
I do not know the real story behind this auto but it had no trailer or boat. In my mind I say to myself " that man was so druck he drove into the water." or " His wife was so mad at him she took the truck and drove it into the river to get back at him?" Your guess is good as mine.

Too funny, but not for the car owner!
a tow charge would be the least of the owners problems, what with swamp water being in all the electrical and seats. did you hear about the woman in a Loisianna truck stop casino that faked a robbery and dumped $75,000 in a river? the cops recovered one bag and beavers took one for beaver parties

I think they mean not to leave your vehicle and trailer unattended on the launch, which is only common sense and curtisy. Launch your boat, then move your vehicle and trailer off the launch and park it. I have seen so many incosiderate people that take sooooo long to launch their boat and they wait to load it at the boat launch while there is a long lineup of people waiting to launch their boats.
"DO NOT DRIVE AND BOAT AT THE SAME TIME - VIOLATERS WILL BE PROSECUTED." (and your seats will be wet and your engine won't start, and you may have to walk home, and your insurance may be revoked, and your wife will get angry, and how will you get to work? and, and, and!) LOL!! Hugs!!

I've lived on a river for 25yr. You will see anything at a public boat ramp. Another possibility of truck in your pic is truck is stolen, and when joy ride is over it is ditched down the ramp. Theives hope it is deep enough to cover the truck and their crimes, at least for a while.
Perfect shot for our opening day of fishing here! LOL :P I'm sure it has to be the car manufacturers fault, or maybe one of those commercials that make people think their car or truck can go anywhere!!! I know..... maybe they didn't know you are suppose to "BACK" in!!! LOL :P Fun stuff!!!!
