Description
This started out as one large spiral ammonite. We always enjoyed fossil hunting and
ammonites are fairly common in this area. Then it just evolved into what you see here.
The much simpler black and white sketch has hung on the wall in my office for many years.
It has been very amusing to watch people study it for a minute till they finally "get it".
Funny, it seems the women always laughed a lot more then the men did. Wonder why? :))
I've always wanted to render that sketch as an image and it seemed that a
cave painting or fossil footprints suited the theme of this idea.
Thanks for looking and thanks for your views and comments on my recent images... Maria

This fits in very well with my new favourite saying: A woman's place is in ....control!! Interesting concept, beautifully presented as always.
Umm, yes, this is a fine image :)
Makes me smile! Maria for President!!
This looks wonderful, congratulations ;O)
Cool textures. Great idea!
Heh -- good one, Maria : )
Very clever and creative; also seemingly true!
This is a hoot! I have "devolved" from the last stage of authority, though - tennis shoes are now my friends:) As always, your command of shapes and textures is fascinating, and this "cave painting" is no exception! Fine work, and a great chuckle!
That's a funny and very well-made image ! Excellent creation, vote.

This is a excellent creation my friend....!!! Very original realization......!!!!
Oh Maria you make me laugh so much. Would love to have this in my office too just to see the expression on my male collegues' faces. This is so clever and wonderfully refreshing. Thanks for sharing. I'll be smiling for the next 3 weeks now and chuckling away to myself.
A bit sexist eh? But funny nontheless. Excellent work. Great realization of the concept.
