Description
An image produced for Mark Mayers (aka zboyi) as one of 8 A5 postcards showcasing the metalFX print process that he has been commissioned to promote (see recent posts in his gallery www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1192298&Start=1&Artist=zboyi&ByArtist=Yes). It was great to be asked to contribute and to work with such a talented artist/designer.

Another example of your excellent aging process. Like the outfits, makes me think of Dan Dare.
Nice job--great pulp SciFi retro.
Another fantastic retro cover and congratulations on your contribution i hope it leads to bigger and better things.
Great fun as always - where do you get the blank covers or are they your own work too?
More fabulous work! I love the retro look (especially the work mittens). The colors are suitably clean and uncomplex, which expertly evokes the old-school feel of the work. My one problem with the composition is the position of the dark tail fin on the rocket. For me, it just seems to form a very harsh "wedge" which frames the guy adjusting the surveying equipment. I can't help but wonder how it would look if you rotated the rocket so that the fin would affect the composition if it were rotated more toward the light (making it a bit lighter). Of course, I'm just nit picking as usual -- you know I love your mock covers!
Your work and talent on this image is absolutely stunning. Awesome render and postwork. Also you made an ideal choice on making the ground and background plain as it focuses the eye on the characters..............smart. V
Mike, many thanks for contributing to my project, this is an excellent image and in my opinion turned out one of the best images in the finished brochure. It really shows the concept of 'Exploration' and worked exceptionaly well with the metallic print process. Many thanks again ;)
