Description
An obvious link with a previous post. Wanted to evoke the kind of curiosity and wonder often associated with the illustrations found in older story books/annuals. Rendered in Vue 5 and postworked in Photoshop.

Yes! You've captured the spirit of the older (1930s) adventure stories. The distressed edges of the paper help. Possibly swapping the panels right for left may work better.
Amazing..great gallery......you and your favorites. Opened a different side to the VUE world to me............ ;0)
Ripped off from the original Cyrano...
Well done. Reminds me of N.C. Wyeth.
Both bw and color pics are looking very authentic, but you've been nailing it for quite a while now. I think taking the sting of CG out in Post is really worth it. Not that I do it but you work it well.
Very well done! It definitely looks just like the old illustrations. Bravo!
Stunning job! :B eaver !
You've got that post work technique and aging process tweaked to perfection. Excellent work.
Man you are good. Astounding work.
Absolutely wonderful, please keep doing this kind of work!
You really caught it!
Another perfect nostalgic illustration ;) I like the mix of mono and colour images.
