I remember, long time ago(lol), when I was developing argentic photos, this effect was obtained using a Selenium toner

Bien vu Michel l'effet selenium !!! C'est vrai que c'ait tout fait ces teintes. Je me rappelles quelques expiences en labo avec mon pe sur le sujet. Et puis tes deux modes sont exquises et gracieuses. Ca rend tr tr bien, et fait sortir ta photo du lot, Venise vu d'un autre oeil, fait du bien ! lol ! Bisous MIchel et passes un super bon week-end. Oh yes, I remember playing with those toners in the dark room (some 20 years ago ;-)... But they didn't come out as nicely balanced as this one, though! Beautiful tones, and another excellent capture, Michel!

Good old Isaac Asimov, I remember his stories. One of them was on the Moon which is related to selenium, the Greek word for moon. Fantastic work, Michel! :)

over 100 years of film development and the romance of chemical development of photography.. and exampled perfectly in this romance portrait .. michel just been observing for at least 10 minutes.. its pure class and out standing. love the tone and the DOf between the shoulders enhances the atmosphere.. genuis !!!! aghhhh!!! just love this whole series..
