Description
here is a shot inside the 1850 house you all wish to see. In the glass case is a dress that was worn in that time. I do not know what on the table? guess they are bowls made out of wood.
Thanks for comments and just looking too

Wow, what a find! Love that old stuff!!! Nice job!
Its like a trip to the past. Cool!
Awesome shot. I saw it and first impression was very rustic. If I am not mistaken that long one was to remove husks of some sort. The other is a grinding bowl
Beautiful!! A lovely time travel back to days gone by.
Working through the window from the left--glass (window), cloth(curtains), glass(case), cloth(dress), glass(case), cloth (curtains), glass (window)--subtly unified and distinguished by the bright white light and soft brown shade defining a small but warm and enduring corner of a large cold world....superb!
Excellent tones and 'noise' that enhances a superb and moody atmosphere to this capture ! Bravo Jock !!!
Lots of square nail in that place I bet! Most rustic! Bravo Jock!
Wonderful old timey display! It reminds me of when we went to the houses at the Strand in Galveston. Great pic! V (:
wonderful shot into this world of life in the 1800's beautiful shot fantastic light!
Imagine recalling all the conversation being had around this (family) table.
Love the feel of this shot. Bet it would make a great sepia too with that "old tyme" feel to it. Also like the way the verticle shot got the basket at the top.
Outstanding Historical work here Love the feel of this photo as well. You have taken us back in time and I do feel as if I am there as I view this wonderful work.
All that history! Excellent!
A part of history remains in tack... Beautifully captured. Aloha
Scarey glad I live now - what will all the crime, rape, hate, racism and war... But at least we've got elec and running water...
Kool composition Jocko, but I have a suggestion for you, get a lightmeter or borrow one, take an outdoor reading( f-stop & shutter speed), then an indoor one...then find the half-way setting between the two and this will light the picture, both out and indoor PERFECTLY, because at present, the outside view is washed out...I hope this help's ? kool stuff ~Cheers~ :o)
Excellent photo of soft natural effects of illumination......!!!!
oh yes, very fantastic capture for a perfectly color and lighting ;) excellent
We are back many years! It is a beautiful vision of a time that is in the past!
Very interesting ~ I like to go to places like this. Generally places like this never allow flash or tripods, so one suggestion is to get a monopod with a quick release, and carry it like a walking stick, then quickly pop the camera on and take a longer exposure. Sneaky but it works.
I can feel the history here!,Excellent photo!!*
Lovely nostalgic capture, beautiful to see all that old kind of stuff! No computers in those days, no pagers, no e-mails, no programs! :)
I love old buildings. Ace shot Jock!

a step into the past... comforting..
