Description
This guy was doing some traffic control, the cars had to drive around him. Is the word "control" or "obstructing"? LOL
This pic was taken near Skukuza where this family keeps their homo sapien tourists entertained. Baboons are so much more entertaining than lions most of the times.
Tourists should NEVER feed these fellas, because once spoilt, they can become very dangerous and can kill a human resisting his food being robbed. Once they've lost their natural fear of humans, the park authorities have to kill the whole troop! AND THAT IS SAD!
I hope you enjoy these sociable animals like I do - by now it should be evident that I just love them: I have published 2 pics of baboons in this series, and there is still one more to come...

I have seen too many movies of these cunning and dangerous baboons. I would have thought twice before trying to get it's picture. excellent capture and thanks for sharing. I will go back and look for your other shots
Something I can't understand, why to kill the whole troop if it's human fault? Just leave them on their natural ambience and it's everything alright! Thanks for sahering!!
Outstanding and very detailled shot. Excellent capture!!!
Ha ha, baboons regulating the traffic! That IS fun! Better not feed the lad though, it would be sad to see another society spoilt. So many human societies are yet spoilt, let's save the baboon's societies! ;) Fantastic work, Piet! :)
Look like my boss has a part time job...great shot thanks for the laugh.
heheheheheh brillaint... love it..:) excellent
Nice closeup of this baboon, theiy sometimes remind me of my in laws (family in law). Crisp and clear picture, what about sencoring the next picture of the baboon. LOL
Wise words and an excellent image :)
Due to the complaint from andridg1575 about nudity, the next baboon pic will be censored: I will mask the baboon's eyes! LOL
This guy has a mean looking face. He sits there with Authority, don't mess with him..lol. Beautiful shot with excellent information. Thanks for sharking. Aloha

Hee Hee Hee traffic control. These guys behave like some humans, give them a thread and they'll take your whole shirt!
Another super shot. Unreal that they get so territorial...a bit scary! Looking forward to more (uncensored is fine!! LOL) Thanks Busi, :0)

Thanks for the closeup, I never go that near to any officer!!!
Yeah, they can be very dangerous. They have similar problems with tourists feeding bears in Yellowstont Nat'l Park.
He he.... great your traffic control here ! And a so funny shot Piet ! But I never feel in peace with a guy as this one arround me ! They have too often so much agressivity, and change their way to do in a second ! and they are powerful and with so big teeth !!!! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... lol ! Great shot and humor as always ;o))))) V
I have delved a bit in primatology and have always found baboons fascinating.LOL I like to brag that I know what those colorful padded butts of theirs are called...talk about useless trivia...just so you can brag,too...they're called ischeal callousities, lol. Not entirely sure about the spelling of ischeal, tho.Fascinating shot.People should also know that they're not yawning...that it's a threat...and they're showing their teeth. You are lucky to see such creatures. We only have squirrels and deer.Have a wonderful week,Piet.-M :^)
Bartender say's to the baboon, "Hey, why the long face?" hehe, great image of a baboon male, in command of his surroundings!
