Description
I told you all I took some photos of some birds a few days ago. Here is one of them. That house is an 1830 or 1850 house. This is at; I guess you call it a park but you have to pay $6 to get in. Well I doing some sheetrock mud finishing there so I got in free. This is the same place I shot the turles.
The sky is overcast this day so I took shots anyway. I got to learn how to shoot under all types of lighting anyway.
The water here is somewhat clear; that why I could shot the turtles. Most water at lest in south Louisiana is mud . You can not see into it.
But this is a man made pond and they keep it clean.
I know there a lot of others that shoot birds[with a camera] and they is super looking. I do not have a big 2 foot long lens that is a foot wide too shoot ; but I get one, oneday[dreaming] These are my first ones of birds so I hope you like them. Shoot with a sony cyber-shot 4.0 mega pixels
thanks for looking and comments and votes

xcellent photo with a great water reflection Jocko !!! Cool pond !!!V
wonderful capture of this old 1850's homestead ... beautiful reflection there too!
I like the circle waves with the reflection of that old house !
Beautiful composition and subject matter. Very nice work.
Great reflections and scene. A nice collection of geese, they're probably waiting for someone to feed them!
the house must have cypress wood siding. very popular in places of high humidity. excellent shot Jock. if you give some bread crumbs they will come to your feet
Just love the old house. gives your shot lots of character. And its not the lens. Its the eye behind it. Great work.
Nice shot, yes I think the old building makes the scene... along with the reflection...
sweet shot!...very nice and clear,too!

Very rustic looking! Bravo Jock!
Very cool peaceful house and geese in the pond. Down to basics nature is wonderful. Thanx for sharing Jocko! :)
How beautiful!!
Guess the geese have free entrance ;)
Beautifult picture
It looks unexpurgated. I would say unabridged but that has to do with arms. Ten years after a Purchase like Louisiana is a good time to reexamine.
Beautiful and excellent photo my friend....!!! A bucolic place.....!!!
Gorgeous birds! ...and that house! Is it on beam 'n' pier(however you spell it)? Houses that are built like that are supposed to be the best, so no wonder it's still around. It must be great to be part of the restoration. Fantastic pic! V (:
The birds are so well behaved and such! I love the lighting here that allows the good clear shot!
GREAT SHOT!! I love these old houses, and combined with the pond and birds its a really fine piece! The lighting is just right, too. Good job!
Really beautiful reflections.. jocko..!!!!
