Description
After respected scholar, and world renown art critic
professor E.C. Hopalong makes an impassioned speech to congress,
asking the artists of the world to unite in in single purpose
against the scourge of tacky and distracting animated thumbnails.
The congress met in a special closed session this weekend,
to unanimously pass the "Static thumbnail" bill.
This bill, once put into law,
would make it a crime to create animated thumbnails of any kind.
President Bush asked congress to move quickly in passing this landmark bill.
Though the law would prohibit the creation of animated thumbnails on U.S. soil,
it would not have power to stem the tide of foreign made animated thumbnails!
Though Mr. Bush agreed with professor Hopalong's take on uniting the currently divided artists,
he strongly disagreed with the time-line the professor voiced,
"This war is not like any other! It's gonna take as long as it takes!".

All right, I finally had to take a look at what all this "Ban Animated Thumbs" bit is, and I've come to the conclusion that you people are nuts. I, of course, mean that in the kindest possible way. Perhaps Georgie could take the campaign to the UN to try to get the "international" vote going.
