Description
This was taken last Sunday. Actually three images taken all merged together. When I looked out my window I thought there was a fire cause of the clouds...I ran out to my explorer and drove to what I thought would be a fire, no fire only more puffy clouds. It hardly seemed real. But, it was actually just the sky that evening... The most intence puffy clouds. Then I drove by this Victorian house and liked it so still against the dark mountains that night. the horse was shot earlier.
SO this is called uneasy feeling. Like in the beginning of the wizard of Oz type surreal feeling /apprehension of a storm brewing or a fire coming. I felt that way ( no lie) before the 94 earthquake in Northrigde . ( at that time I lived a few miles away from the epicenter in Canoga park Calif.). cant expalin it BUT I walked outside and everything was still and quite . no birds chirping - my usually doves cooing were absent. And so I said, " Mike we need to get out of here..!!!"
So we packed up and drove to my parents house a few hours North in Pine Mountain club.. Later we found my daughers crib had been smashed by a big entertainment center. I don't know if it was my womans intuition or God that helped us flee and save her life that night.
This images kinda sums up that kinda feeling for me.
Here the horse is running away and turning its head - looking back with an uneasy feeling. like I must go but its hard to leave my home. ride into the unknown...
This is for Andreas . He needs our prayers as he was in an accident and is now in the hospital. I am worried about him. I just jope he isnt in too much pain. ((He helped me with this image...(as well as Marlene )a few days ago with the lighting in the forum.))

Healing prayers for Andreas! Kimarie, you did a splendid job here. From your image, I can understand the uneasy feeling. The clouds are incredible and eerie. Your scene too has that surreal sense of forebodding. Excellent work. V

Wow Kimmers! A fantastic sky! If I would've had an uneasy feeling about it, I'm sure I would be driving in the opposite direction. My well wishes to Andreas and Edgmont. A fine composition here.
I did not realize he was in the hospital! :-( terrible news, hope it is not too serious. Really neat photography here, it looks very much like a painting.
I really was touched by your story ..its has been well documented in history that animals can sense impeding disasterand the quiet unary feeling is usually a sign that all the bird have fled and it ,s time to go too ..i think our ancestor were more in tune with nature than we now are I love your picture as alwaysespecially the horses .. they really come to live in your arthope everyone get,s out of hospital soon, all the best .
