cool image, I could imagine this sitting on display in the Tate.
Excellent. If that were me, the light bulbs would be replaced by cotton wool. :)
Hah - Another one! Thanks for sharing, I like this very much - are there more???? I am looking forward to the next. BTW. I suppose, you ar not only a fan of Magritte but also of Joseph Cornell?
Mannn Ray - Jasper Johns - early Calder. Love this stuff! You must have a very big storage area for all those ....get thee to a gallery!!!
Brilliant work!
Great piece, and easy to relate to. If I had one finished project for every ten "great ideas",... well you get the picture. ;)
So lovely :D
So that's where my bulbs went? A great place to hatch an idea. I wonder if Art is imitating Life, Mr. Froggo.... love it!
Perfect. Stored concepts in the attic from the books read by the light of day? What a wonderful piece. You continue to amaze. (Retroactively)..
Superb idea!! I just love your work!
oh this is excellent! i just love the fact that your CG style is the same as the one in more "traditional" media! not that this is anything like "traditional", lol. what a great idea, and wonderfully executed. wouldn't it be nice. :) thanks for sharing, i absolutely love this!
I have an attic like that, but my bulbs are all dim. :^) Great piece.
Two plugs and nothing to connect to them, what a fun creation! Excellent work on the mini furniture, not an easy task Dave, but then your creations scream of difficulty and wonderment..(=
Cornell comes first to mind but there are so many wonderful details. Superb!
As always youve created a true work of modern art here
I see where your rendering style comes from. :-) Cool concept -- nicely done!
Great piece!
This is a great idea. Really well done:)
