Description
I was asked a couple of months ago to illustrate the cover for the December issue of CGWorld magazine using the models from my Christmas card last year. In that issue, I was also asked to write an article about myself (my favorite subject ... LOL) and 3D in general. I have not seen the magazine yet but supposedly it is in transit somewhere between China and here. Now that I look at it, I'm not as pleased as I was when I initially completed it.
Anyway, here it is.

Exceptional work! I think it rocks! V (:
This will make a fantastic cover! It's a beauty! I hope the purple holds up well in the printing. It is wonderful on the screen, but I've seen so many cases where it didn't translate to ink well. Can we ALL get an autographed copy? :)
congratulations for winning the animation contest...excellent image done
Congrats. I couldn't think of someone more deserving of a bit of recognition. The cover will come out beautifully, I'm sure :o)

Excellent image........... your character has a lot of personality.......... great textures and lighting......... excellent
Fun character!!!
top stuff, and great news you're on the cover! how exciting. and it's a really funny, well put together image, too.
Very nice image, but the broad smooth snout seems to create an orange hole right in the middle. Could have used some more detail in this area. But still top notch work.
Congrats Ray!! - it's cool to get your work into another language mag! - in moments of boredom (or drunken-ness), you might do as I did, and try and work out which of your words are represented by which oriental character! lol! - I am sure it will look great when it arrives - post a scan in the forum! :D
Jolly good! Great Christmas character.
