Description
It's not quite as bad as it looks, but it is straight up the side of a rock. I liked what the camera did to the perspective.
This is Beacon Rock, an old volcanic neck, on the Washington side of the Columbia River. The associated state park's website is here
Thanks for looking and any comments. I'm happy to be able to share the beauty of the Northwest with you.

This is so cool, Dennis. Weren't you dizzy??? :~)
WOW! What a kewl view, I am sure these Switchbacks make for an easy climb with the way it's constructed. Nicely captured... V
What a neat trail, and view!!!
Whew, I can see now that I'm not interested in hiking up or down this. I don't like high places and the hike back up would kill me off. I like the picture though.
great pov.. but not too difficult a climb ;]
The wild northwest, with fantastic vertigo's! Beautiful capture, the vista's must be great up here! :)
WOW! Dizzying and delightful! It's fascinating to see how they managed to make this accessible to almost anyone. A creative POV and a terrific composition :)
