Eric, I completely forgot that you live in France and what with all that's been going on there. I'm very sorry to hear that your country has to go through all this violence. It seems violence, greed and hardships are prevalent nowadays more so than ever. I pray for the day that mankind will wake up and realize what kind of a gift they have with life and with the earth and we can all live together in piece.

Although the things, that happen, make me feel sad - most of all because those who have nothing are destroying the life of those who have less - these things are something I've expected even earlier. We are living in a world where a very small minority posesses the majority of goods, safety, education... leaving the rest standing aside. You are right: Hate and destruction is no way to solve the problems. But pitily: If poor people just beg and pray it seems that no one listens...

I've been watching the news reports with despair. Such a terrible and mindless string of events. A touching image to reflect this atrocity.
