Description
Hi dears,
as I've told you in my posting yesterday I have made another experience at the cemetery that I cannot get out of my mind... during the walk I came to a place I have never been before. Those graves are decorated differently to the usual ones, so colourful and serene.
I got closer and what I saw really striked me!
Those are all graves for babies... OMG... it pulls your heartstring to read the inscriptions.
Some of the babies were only one month or a few weeks old when they had to pass away and some of them haven't even made one day as you can see in the image. What a tragedy! I sat down with tears in my eyes and my heart was filled with sympathy for their families.
I felt how blessed I am to be able to see my kids growing up!
I felt ashamed of being unpatient or mad with them sometimes!
So this upload is for all the parents here on Rendo...
Be patient with your kids even if they aren't the way you want them to be,
if they pull your nerves now and then,
if there are problems you never had thought of before.
Be thankful for everyday you are able to see them growing!
Kids are such an amazing gift!
God bless you!
Thanks for stopping by and any comments...

sehr sche arbeit monika :)
A momenet of prayers.........Aloha
Very evocative Moni, it is sad to see the dates on childrens graves, and think it moves everyones soul to read them, Time was when there was no doctors, hospitals or medicne to make them well, now is better, but still wars and neglect still have there way. V Lina
Yes a moment of prayers and It's very difficult...thanks Monika.
very moving
Very emotional photographs, Monika. So impressive. Wir msen wirklich f jeden Tag dankbar sein, an welchem wir unsere Kinder gesund erwachsen werden sehen. Ich wsch' Dir einen wunderschen Tag!
heart touching. I can imagine how you feel. Things like this stay in our minds forever. Which is good in a way too.
Just thank you Monika.
A sad tale and with young kids something I find hard to think about. Still, a lovely photo Monika. :)
Little angels.... :~)
That is sad, Monika. Where my Dad is buried their are tomb stones of children who died from polio. It is so sad. They are all saints in Heaven now.
Es ist einfach schwer irgendetwas zu schreiben darer... Hugs
It's very sorrowful and emotional picture after All Souls' Day...but beautyfull..
Yes is sad but that is life. Having two of my babies die in my arms at one hour old i can relate to this sadness and memories this photo brings. One of ours has teddy bear and the other has a rose. Alec and Rebecca. But life goes on but we learn to grow from sadness and enjoy the happy times more. Life is too short to live in what might have been. Takecare Moni
Das gibt Anlass zum nachdenken und das Leben wieder einmal mehr als ein Geschenkt zu sehen!
Theres something very heartbreaking seeing a childs grave, and you stumbled upon alot of them. I saw your photos in the forum and even though its really sad its also wonderful to see all the love and effort being put into "decorating" those graves. Thank you for sharing.
a wonderful presented and touching tribut! macht sehr traurig, wenn man sich die tragien vorstellt! wir knen uns wirklich glklich schzen mit unseren kindern! many hugs, sis! ;o)))
Very touching!!!! & Yes I love my "bastards" Very Much...even if I sometimes whant to strangle them a little ;) Puss & Kram
It is a very touching photograph. I share with you your sensitivity of seeing these final resting places of the babies. In India, very often, we are told that God takes away some of the babies early because they are blessed and He does not want them to suffer in this world. They were born just to go through a rebirth to expatiate the sins of their previous births. I know this sound very spiritual etc. I, personally, feel that the people believe this here just so that they can attach a positive significance. But this picture of yours is, in fact, a very touching one, no matter what interpretation you give to it.
Thanks for sharing this. Powerful stuff.
very touching and poignant shot and words to go with it. hope all parents take a listen :)
Wonderful thoughtful image, Monika... very emotional and meaningful... Take care
A very touching photo with high emotional impact. It makes me think of all the millions of children who have been prevented from being born due to laws which allow abortions! A sadness beyond belief.
I know what you talking about, my wife has such kind of feelings often, she told me that you emailed her about this. She is not well lately, so she send you her greetings here, she don't comment others. I know we must see the things we have, and if you lost somebody then you realize how happy we must be with our own family. Nice pictures
I too understand your feelings when you came pon this site. Your reflections are perfect as we should remind ourselves that others are not to so lucky in seeing their child grow up. Thank you for sharing and bringing a sense of ballance to our lives.
A well put together set here Monika...take care :]
Beautiful capture Monika! Thank you for sharing your experience! Something like this really speaks a lot about Life and how precious it is, particularly when it's a baby or child :)
So sad... deeply touched Monika... cheer up my friend !
