Yes, I realize the composition of this photo is not the best. Still, the wonderful horses in the stall taking a break and waiting for the next call to duty caught my heart a bit. Sturdy horses, dependable, lovely to me. A quote: "The Percheron Horse did originate in the province of Le Perche, ... The ancestors of the modern day Percheron served as war horses carrying knights into ..." These horses could fill that role but thankfully pull a wagon gently and do not go into battle. I might not keep this one in the gallery but at least for now, the horses deserve it.

The Percheron and the Duesenberg are the two luxuries I never expected to see beyond my horizon which in 1957 was about 1969.
